Outlier Inspired Return Policy
Our goal is to provide you with an outstanding customer experience every time you shop with us. This Return Policy covers all items purchased through Outlier Inspired.com. Our policy is designed to give you confidence that we stand behind our products on our marketplace and to make returns easy if you’re not fully satisfied with an item for any reason. You should review these terms carefully before making any purchase.
Returns
If you’re not satisfied with an item that you purchased on Outlier Inspired, you can initiate a return within 30 days after delivery for a full refund. To be eligible for a full return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Items that have been used or modified in any way may not be returned. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.
To return an item, visit our Customer Care page, select the “Customer Care Form” button for the appropriate order and follow the instructions. You will be responsible for return shipping costs (except in instances where the item arrived damaged or defective).
We recommend insuring your return shipment and using a trackable shipping method. Refunds will not be issued for items damaged in return transit or for returns that are never received.
The following items may not be returned:
- Items marked as final sale or “not returnable” on the product page or during the checkout process.
Damaged and Defective Items
In the unlikely event that an item you ordered arrives damaged or is defective, you may return it for a replacement or a full refund, as long as you report the issue within 30 days after delivery of the item and it was shipped by a parcel carrier (for example, if it was delivered by UPS or USPS). You will not be responsible for the shipping costs to return or replace the item.
To report an issue with an item, please visit our Customer Care page, select the “Customer Care Form” button for the order and follow the instructions. You will be required to submit photos of the damage.
Exchanges
If you choose to exchange an eligible returned, you can initiate a return within 30 days after delivery. You will be charged for shipping your exchange to you. There are certain situations where additional charges may apply – e.g., if the returned item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Once your return is received and inspected to determine whether it complies with the requirements for an exchange, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. The email will also include the results of the inspection. If the item is in compliance, an exchange invoice will be sent to you electronically for your approval. Once the invoice has been paid, your exchange will be packaged and shipped to you.
Refunds
If you choose to get a refund for an eligible returned, damaged or defective item (as specified above), you’ll be refunded the purchase price and applicable sales tax. For damaged or defective items, you will also receive a refund for any amount you may have paid through Outlier Inspired to have the item shipped to you. For items that were not damaged or defective, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the amount of the refund due to you, if you use a return shipping label provided by Outlier Inspired.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected to determine whether it complies with the requirements for a refund, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. The email will also include the results of the inspection. If the item is in compliance, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment shortly after our warehouse has received, inspected, and processed the eligible item. If we are unable to refund the original method of payment, Outlier Inspired will provide you with store credit for the amount of the refund due to you, which may be used for purchases on Outlier Inspired.
Missing Items
If your order is missing any items or parts, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after delivery. Go to our Customer Care page and click the “Customer Care Form” button for the order and follow the instructions.
Cancellations
Because our system automatically processes your order almost immediately after you make your purchase, it is not possible to cancel or change your order before it is fulfilled.
If you place an order that you wish to cancel, you can:
- Refuse the package when it is delivered. Simply write “Refuse: Return to Sender” on your unopened package and give to your postal carrier. Go to our Customer Care page. Under Quick Links, click Customer Care form. Select “I no longer want my SkyDreamer.” Follow instructions and select “I gave may package back to the postmaster, marked Return to Sender” and submit to our Customer Care Team. We will contact you normally within 48 hours.
- If you have already taken possession of the package, go to our Customer Care page. Under Quick Links, click Customer Care form. Select “I no longer want my SkyDreamer.” Follow instructions and select “I have shipped my package back to your warehouse” or “My package is still in my possession” and submit to our Customer Care Team. We will contact you normally within 48 hours.
